Thank you for visiting our website, we are pleased you dropped by, today i want to tell you about the paypal system which we are now using for all our payments, the DJ's who work through us will be paid in advance of the night by us, you will have no worries about handling cash on the night, and we will handle all the paperwork, this new system also will stop the unfortunate events of recent where some of our guys have been ripped off at the end of the night and simply not paid, or a later payment promised and the client simply then ignores our letters and phone calls, from January 2012 all payments must be completed no later then 7 days in advance of the night, and all deposits must be in place to secure the booking, i hope you will understand this is the best way for everyone.

Paypal Fees Updates

Just a quick update as a few people have asked me about the Paypal fees and system, the Paypal system charges us a fee of Receiving purchase payments
for receiving payments of 3.4%.of the total amount paid, so to cover this charge we have had to pass it on to the customer, this is no different really from paying V.A.T
in a shop for instance, however we charge a fixed fee of £5.00 to cover the fee and additional costs such as contract postage and mailing costs, this is all this fee represents.

Paypal is without doubt the easiest way to handle deposits and payments in the modern world and we hope this will also be easier for you too, we pay the DJ directly and
you have no paperwork to worry about on the night, also your get an automatic receipt sent to you by email, hope this clears up some questions I have had by email recently.

Our newest DJ Patrick has been working hard out at many venues over Christmas, we welcome him to our team and look forward to seeing his work at many shows.

Christmas 2011 has been very hit and miss due to the general economic downturn, however 2012 is looking much busier for our DJ's with several weddings already booked for the June and July.

DJ Kevin C has been working out on several shows this Christmas and will continue to be active over the New Year, we can highly recommend Kevin for older functions especially 60's and Motown Events.

Well thats the news, I look forward to your emails and questions, thanks for supporting us and keeping the music alive, rocking you across the festive season.

Wedding yesterday in the next room to the Birthday party I was doing. Prices as follows;
Buffet £4 a head - 150 people = £600
Table Decoration £5 a table - 13 table = £65
Birthday Cake - £265
Wedding dress - £ alot
Room hire £350
Balloons - £120
Dj - £180

Total - £1580 plus dress plus more but essentially for what was told £1580

This was the order that the prices were explained to me by the Father of the Bride as he was in the party that I was doing. He complained of having no atmosphere in the Wedding and that people were going home early because the dj was not good and could I help.
So to recap the people who were invited to be entertained and enjoy the special day of marriage were entertained by something more expensive than balloons but less expensive than a wedding cake which was untouched at the end of the night. I have the mobile discos business card. He works within the Somerset area and all I can say is thanks to you sir I have picked up 3 wedding bookings from your wedding party.
£180 for a wedding disco. We set our own prices but really! I had a chat with the Hotel and for an extra £3 per head they could of had a better buffet, that's £450! It would appear this dj values himself on the same par as being better than Balloons and less important than Cake. On this occasion sir you have proved YOUR worth to them, as have I. PEOPLE VALUE YOUR SERVICE. YOU ARE WHAT YOU ARE VALUE YOURSELF AT IT. AND LETS PROMOTE THE VALUE OF GOOD ENTERTAINMENT AND THE IMPORTANCE OF THE RIGHT PERSON FOR THE JOB. IF WE ALL TALK TO 1 PERSON A WEEK WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE. To the Dj in the other room last night...I have emailed you back and yes that is my opinion of the situation and your service. You are in a total "OTHER" room!
